Stanislav

Stanislav was born in Vilnius (Lithuania) in 1969. At a young age the promise he showed as an artist lead to his admission at the Art School for gifted children. After spending four years at the Vilnius Middle Art School, he entered the Minsk Academy of Art where he graduated in 1993.

Stanislav combines his artistic training with vivid imagination in strikingly realistic portrayals of ancient myth, the human figure, and sensuality in the metamorphosis of man and machine. His ability to bring past mythology to life in a style that combines past and present elevates his work above all others in his field. You can feel the forgotten power and lore of the Greek gods when viewing paintings like, Leda, Icare, and Dianna. Stanislav presents an unrivaled mastery in bringing life to mind-blowing realities with powerful emotion. The intrigue in his portraits of women lies not only in technique but the way they reveal as much as is left to the imagination. His portrait, Spring, gives an initial impression of a delicate girl but in time you can feel her personality containing a hidden inner strength and depth.

Stanislav illustrations and paintings have been exhibited in the galleries in Spain (Barcelona, Tarragona, Lleida, Zaragoza), Belgium (Antwerp), France (Lille, Paris), and the United States. He has participated in numerous exhibitions including the Art Expo in New York City. Stanislav also offers his work to galleries in France, where he spends a lot of his time.
