Colors of War – Opening Exhibition Featuring The Artwork of Dmytro Podobiedov

Please join us for our upcoming show, Colors of War, featuring solo-artist Dmytro Podobiedov. Presented in association with Amidst Cries From The Rubble at the Museum of International Folk Art.
Solo-Exhibition of war-time paintings from Ukrainian artist, Dmytro Podobiedov.

 

Dmytro Podobiedov was born in Southern Ukraine in 1971. From an early age, he was drawn to painting.  As a young man, he attended Art School in Kherson, Ukraine.

After high school, Podobiedov was accepted into the Simferopol Art School on the Crimean Coast, where he studied under noted Impressionist Masters such as Lev Balkind and Valentin Bernadski. He graduated in 1998 and dedicated his life to painting. Podobiedov became known for his loose brushwork and skilled compositions. The styles of his paintings include still life, figurative and scenic. His paintings have been on display in the gallery for over ten years.
