IGOR
IGOR was born in 1964 on the shores of the Caspian Sea in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. Renowned for fine arts and international commerce, Baku is a cultural and economic crossroad between Asia Minor, the Middle East and Europe. Baku offered young IGOR a stimulating environment for the development of his personal perception.
IGOR graduated from the Painting Department of Baku Art School at Azim-Zade. In 1986, he became a member of the Union of Russian Artists. Public recognition of his talent began in 1982, at the age of 18, when his work was included in the “Art and Music” Exhibition in Baku. Since then, he has shown in art exhibitions all over the world, from Seattle and San Diego to Naples, Amsterdam, Moscow and Prague.
IGOR’s work is recognized in the international art community for his compelling style. His paintings are dynamic, colorful, and bright. They are highly developed, artistically and technically; while simultaneously spontaneous and innocent. IGOR expresses the essence and immediacy of a moment, through the lens of his unique vision.
