Born in Moscow, 1975, Vladimir Meshkov began formal art studies early in life. In 1994 he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the Department of Arts and Graphics at Moscow College. In 1998, he achieved a Master’s degree with first-class honors from the Faculty of Fine Art and Folk Art at Moscow University.
Deeply inspired by nature, Meshkov portrays the subtle beauty of our world with the skill of a well-trained artist. He is an artist steeped in the Russian Impressionist tradition, but expressing his unique vision with a personal style. VLADIMIR’s technique is easily recognized: soft, tender renderings of natural scenes, evoking peace, serenity and the beauty of forests, rivers, lakes and the hills of his native land.
Vladimir Meshkov’s talent has been recognized and rewarded. He has participated in many art shows at Moscow’s prestigious Central Artists’ Hall and has been honored with awards from the Russian Federation. He is a member of the Russian Union of Artists as well as Artist-UNESCO.
Vladimir Meshkov currently lives with his family in Moscow, where he teaches fine art at Moscow University.
