Vasili Fedorovich Ivanov was born in 1916. His career as an artist blossomed in Khabarovsk where he did most of his paintings of the local landscapes. Some of his well-known exhibitions include, “Soviet Russia,” which took place in Moscow, 1960. He lived well into his fifties and died after 1970. His work is noticeably impressionist as was common during the time period and continues to be appreciated by younger generations.
